UV222 Downlight

UV222 Downlight

Effective and Safe Decontamination

Designed for effective overhead Far-UVC decontamination, the UV222 Downlight ensures clean air and surfaces in various settings. It fits seamlessly into different environments without affecting the people present.

Decontamination easily integrated

Children and young adults are among the most vulnerable, being particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, during which over 90% of schools worldwide were fully or partially closed. Many organisations have pointed out the high risk of intergenerational inequality and the need to find new solutions to prevent this in the future.

Far-UVC has been identified as the best emerging technology to fight the spread of pathogens in occupied spaces. UV222 Downlight can add substantial protection against aerosolised pathogens in high-traffic classrooms, offices, and hallways.

Description

UV222 Downlight is designed to be integrated into any secondary ceiling capable of holding its weight, only needing a circular opening between 150 to 155 mm.

UV222 Downlight harnesses game-changing Far-UVC technology, offering a highly effective solution for surface and air disinfection. It can be used in all spaces and is safe to use in the presence of people, making it an essential tool to prevent the spread of existing and emerging viruses and other potential infections.

UV222 Downlight is available as both a 60° and 100° version, and every lamp is measured after production and sent with its unique specifications report. The spatial and spectral distribution of the light is measured on each lamp using a 2-axis goniometer, giving the entire 3D distribution of the Far UV-C light emitted by it.
