WHAT UKAS ACCREDITATION MEANS
FMS Ltd is accredited by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for Laboratory Calibration services.
The ISO 17025 standard is internationally recognised and specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests or calibrations. It covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods and laboratory-developed methods.
FMS (Laboratory number 9791) is accredited for temperature calibrations, allowing us to offer a higher quality and truly traceable level of calibration to customers wishing to adopt UKAS accredited calibrations that comply with ISO 17025, or whose business activity mandates that they comply.
The accreditation is often requested by our customers and others across the laboratory and cleanroom sectors to confirm that businesses like FMS, who provide testing and calibration services, are truly competent.
